In Maharashtra along with rapid industrial growth state government was concerned about management of hazardous waste and feel requirement of CHWTSDF in 2005 at Nagpur for Vidharbha region and Pune Region.
SMS Envocare Set up First Hazardous Waste Management Facility at Nagpur & Pune and commence operations in 2007 and 2009 respectively. Modes of Disposal of Hazardous waste at above CHWTSDF are as follows.
